Storify Recap: Words on the Web (29 August to 4 September)

Here’s my summary of finds and shares of the ‘words on the web’ from 29 August to 4 September. This week’s summary unfortunately includes the sad loss of much beloved star Gene Wilder, who will be much missed by people across the world.

The summary also includes Margaret Atwood being interviewed about her graphic novel, Angel Catbird (via Mental Floss), a rare Kurt Vonnegut interview (via Blank on Blank), plus Animade’s cute ‘Olympops’ video of balloon olympics (via Huffington Post).

August 9 was National Book Lover’s Day! To celebrate on the blog, I dedicated the week of 1 to 7 August to book lovers. In case you missed it, I shared some of the great book related finds I’ve made via Open Culture in a series of discovery posts. Click here to read part one, here to read part two, and here for part three. The giveaway has now finished and I’ll be contacting the winner today. Watch out for a new giveaway coming this way very soon!
